Information used by PROOF
- Account information: your account identifier, email address, authentication provider information, sign-in sessions, and policy acceptance. Google sign-in is handled through Google and Supabase Auth; PROOF does not receive your Google password.
- Goals and evidence: goal descriptions, deadlines, submitted links, notes, photos or videos, and the metadata included in the files you choose to upload.
- Reviews and progression: review decisions, integrity and moderation records, virtual balances, transaction history, rewards, Avatar choices and City state.
- Social information: profiles, friend requests, friendships, blocks, City visibility, invitations, visits, reports and inbox events.
- Device and service operation: app preferences, cached content, notification permission and delivery records, and technical information processed by our hosting, authentication and support services. Our operational practices are described below.
Why information is used and who can access it
Information supports sign-in, account restoration, goal review, progression, social features, abuse prevention, account deletion and support. Eligible reviewers can access submitted evidence through the review service. Profile and City information can be shared with other users under the applicable visibility and access rules. A block is an access control; it cannot remove copies someone already obtained outside PROOF.
Supabase provides authentication and social data services. The PROOF economy service stores goals, evidence, review outcomes and economic records. Google handles Google sign-in. Service providers process information to operate these services.
Permissions and local storage
The camera, microphone and photo library are used when you choose to capture or select evidence. You can manage permissions in system settings. Session credentials are stored using platform secure storage; app preferences and cached account data are also stored on the device.
Notification permission is requested through an opt-in flow. Notification settings include categories and quiet hours. Lock-screen text uses a generic activity message. This version has no integrated advertising SDK or activated real-money purchases. These static legal pages contain no analytics scripts or tracking cookies; hosting and support processing remains covered by this policy.
Retention and account deletion
Account deletion removes the online sign-in account, profile, social connections, Avatar/City records and uploaded evidence files through the account deletion process. Identifying goal text and evidence links/notes are removed. Some economic and review history remains with replacement identifiers; deletion/retry digests and security or moderation records can remain. Those records are not represented as automatically anonymous or automatically purged. An immutable administrator ownership binding is retained for the administrator account.
Request account and associated data deletion, including without reinstalling the app. Uninstalling or clearing local app data alone does not delete an online account.
